Introducing

Eastbourne Pagan Circle was formed in the year 2000 and has been meeting regularly since then. Moots take place twice monthly - one is an informal 'social' pub moot held on the first Tuesday of every month, and the other is a more formal affair, often with an invited speaker giving a presentation or sharing their expertise and interests.

Let us remember...

Paganism is a religion or group of beliefs in which each individual's spiritual quest is expressed in their personal life.

Many pagans believe that the Divine is immanent in nature, the natural world and everything in it, including ourselves.

There are several main traditions - Wicca, Druidry and Northern being the better known. While most traditions are non-dogmatic many pagans prefer to choose their own paths, drawing from each tradition those apects which are right for them as individuals.

The main festivals of Paganism pay respect and celebrate the changing cycle of the seasons, the deities honoured represent aspects of the divine.

Paganism has been recognised as a valid belief system by the Home Office, the Interfaith Network and many other governments across the world.

The Eastbourne Pagan Circle meets every first Tuesday of the month upstairs at The Lamb Inn, Old Town Eastbourne.

Recent events include a craft fair, discussions on psychic protection and the background to our annual festivals, talks on such topics as crop circles, druidry, etc., and writers such as Brian Bates introducing their lates works.

The EPC are custodians and operators of Herne and Andred Eastbornes two giant figures who can be seen dancing at the towns Lammas Fair and other events around the south-east during the spring and summer months.

Additionally there is a social meeting along with various other gatherings for the festivals, other talks and worshops sometimes in conjunction with other Pagan meetings and organisations.
